Celtics Triumph Over Cavaliers in Battle of Eastern Conference Leaders

(Field Level Media) Derrick White came up clutch in the fourth quarter, scoring 14 of his 20 points to help the Boston Celtics secure a 112-105 road victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night. The win extended Boston’s winning streak to four games.

White was instrumental from beyond the arc, hitting 6 of 12 three-pointers, including four in the fourth quarter.

With 22.4 seconds remaining, the Cavaliers trailed 109-104 and had a chance to cut the deficit, but Jayson Tatum stole an Evan Mobley pass, sealing the victory for Boston. Tatum finished with a team-high 22 points and seven assists.

On the other side, Donovan Mitchell led the Cavaliers with 31 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists, while Darius Garland added 25 points. Jarrett Allen contributed 17 points and 18 rebounds, but Cleveland suffered just its fourth home loss of the season (24-4).
