Forget Valentine’s Day; Philadelphia is celebrating a Super Bowl victory! The Eagles triumphed over the Kansas City Chiefs, securing their second Vince Lombardi Trophy. The city is now preparing for a massive Super Bowl victory parade and celebration, and everyone’s invited.
The festivities begin on Friday, February 14, 2025, with a family-friendly parade kicking off at 11 a.m. on Broad Street in South Philly. The parade route will proceed north on Broad Street, circle City Hall, pass LOVE Park, and continue up the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Rocky Steps, the site of the official Super Bowl ceremony.

The ceremony is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. The parade itself will feature open-air buses and vehicles carrying Eagles players, coaches, staff, Swoop the mascot, and special guests. Over 15 jumbotron screens along the route will broadcast the festivities live. Those arriving early can expect a pre-parade procession of 30 buses carrying special attendees and Super Bowl highlights playing on the jumbotrons. Eagles players and coaches will be on hand at the Rocky Steps ceremony starting around 1 p.m.
This promises to be a huge celebration, potentially even larger than the 2018 Super Bowl parade, which drew over 1.4 million attendees. The event is family-friendly, and sensory-friendly resources will be available (details to be announced). And, of course, expect a deluge of confetti, reminiscent of a confetti-filled Retro Bowl victory (only on a much larger, real-world scale).
