Chelsea F.C. has expressed a strong interest in Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma, reportedly preparing a £75 million bid, exceeding the £61 million previously rejected by Brighton from Saudi Arabian clubs, according to Fichajes. This interest follows Mitoma’s impressive performances against Chelsea F.C., including scoring in both of their recent encounters. His skillful goal against Chelsea F.C. on February 15th drew significant attention.

Mitoma, 27, has established himself as a Premier League talent, attracting interest from several top clubs, including Chelsea F.C. The Blues have a history of acquiring players from Brighton, such as Moises Caicedo, Marc Cucurella, and Robert Sanchez, and Mitoma could be the next high-profile transfer.

Brighton acquired Mitoma for approximately £3 million in 2021, meaning a sale to Chelsea F.C. would represent a substantial profit.
