Devils Scramble for Defensive Help After Siegenthaler Injury

Jonas Siegenthaler’s injury during the first period of Tuesday’s game against the Pittsburgh Penguins forced the New Jersey Devils to play the remaining 40+ minutes with only five defensemen. The news regarding Siegenthaler’s injury was not positive after the game, a 3-2 shootout win for the Devils. It appears the Devils will need to add a defenseman to their roster for at least the next two games before the 4 Nations break.
